Dressing for a holiday party can be fun, and stressful.  So it’s time to bring out one of my favourite trends and give it a festive flair.  An easy way to approach monochromatic dressing for the holidays is by matching separates in a bold holiday hue (like red) or a fabric (like sequins).  If you’re going for an overall tonal look, be sure to incorporate different textures like a luxe velvet or satin that are typically associated with the season.  Delicate details, like a bow, can also give a subtle party vibe to an otherwise neutral outfit.
