3 Outfits To Win Holiday Party Season

Now is the time to start stocking up on your favourite silhouettes in holiday-ready fabrics. Think luxury knits, soft cashmere, warm wools and of course the luxe material that gets invited to every cocktail party – velvet!  Look for anything in a jewel tone, from ruby red to cobalt blue and when in doubt add more bling.

Layer Up

This look is perfect for the holiday house party.   When it comes to layering make sure the foundation layer (in this case a turtleneck) is fitted.  The next layer should be a little looser like this waterfall front cardigan.  Culottes are not going anywhere for the winter, just try them in a heavier fabric.  A subtle hint of bling on these loafers means your host won’t ask you to remove your shoes at the door.

The Jumpsuit

Is there anything more versatile than a velvet jumpsuit?  This jumpsuit can be dressed down for a less formal occasion by layering it over a classic white tee or jewel tone turtleneck.  Want to turn up the glam?  Leave out the extra layer and show off your décolletage.  Don’t be afraid of statement jewelry, layers of necklaces and sky high stilettos for an ultra chic look.
