How To Wear The Utility Trend This Season

Trends come and go, but there are some come back season after season, like the utility trend. This very wearable style is getting a fresh take this season!

Cargo Pant

This season’s cargo pant has a more tapered silhouette, but still true to the trend with the classic stitching and pocket details. On top I paired these pants with a cream, cropped jacket in a boxy silhouette with tortoiseshell buttons. To keep the look elevated, pair cargos with a blouse or opt for a pair in a fabric like silk.

Utility Skirt

A high-waisted skirt is perfect for tucking in your tops, making it perfect for petite women as well. This one boasts the traditional front pockets. Add a statement sleeve, one of the season’s other greatest trends, for a feminine flair. This look is stunning in burnt orange, but lookout for the trend in pastels for a fresh and modern take.

Jumpsuit

Also known as a boiler suit, this one is done in Tencel, which is super lightweight and sustainable. Adding a belt is a great way to accentuate shape and add femininity to what would be traditionally a more masculine vibe. This is one of those pieces that you can just throw it on and go. You can also change up the look (like for date night) by switching out the belt with one of your own and pairing the look with heels instead of sneakers.
