1 Classic Sweater Styled 4 Fabulous Ways

It’s officially Fall, which means it’s officially sweater weather. Which is something we can all get behind! Don’t get stuck in a style rut, wearing the same thing the same way over, and over, and over. So today I’m showing you how to style one of my staple sweaters in 4 different ways.

White Denim

Despite the old saying, you definitely can (and should) wear white after Labour Day. I styled these white ankle-length white denim with a white bootie to make it feel more like Fall. Don’t forget when you’re wearing anything high-rise to do a partial tuck to define your waist. And since you know I love layers, I opted for a moto jacket on top of this faux-suede vest, both in a gorgeous neutral tone.

The Slip

The classic sweater is getting an edgier twist by pairing it with a zebra-print slip and embellished booties. If you have two looser items, like I do in this case, grab your favourite belt to define the waist. Of course, this is the perfect opportunity to layer the classic moto jacket.

“Leather” Leggings

Everyone is wearing their leggings lately, myself included. And these faux-leather leggings are the perfect base for layering. I started with an oversized, white tunic and then added the classic sweater. Don’t forget to pop your collar out, and roll up the sleeves to show off your layering skills. That pop of white adds an extra dimension and keeps the whole look fresh. Topped of with a leopard print shaket (yes, the shirt jacket is a thing!). You could also try other prints that are synonymous with the season like houndstooth or plaid.

Satin

It’s so rare that we get to dress up these days, so when that opportunity comes around, why not go for it with a pair of wide-leg satin trousers. When you’re doing a monochromatic look, it’s always fun to break things up with a pattern.
