All The Trends To Warm Up To This Spring

It’s time to take a peek at what’s new for the Spring season, with the trends you want to keep an eye on.

TREND 1: POLKA DOTS

This shirt is a great investment because not only do we see polka dots, but the big shoulder trends. This is an example of the most classic, wearable colorway and looks effortlessly chic when paired with this season’s go-to denim. If you’re worried about polka dots looking young, search for polka dot pieces with structure or a defined silhouette.

TREND 2: SPRING LEATHER

This beautiful, rich camel is a great transitional colour. Wear these leather pants now with a more substantial boot and wear them well into Spring with a heavier sandal. If you’re going to mix leather on leather throughout a look be sure to mix up the colour (like adding blush) or textures (like suede).

TREND 3: RETRO FLORALS

Let’s head back to the 60’s! I opted to modernize the paisley print by cinching the waist with a statement belt and western bootie.

TREND 4: BOLD AND BRIGHT

Colourful suiting is a great way to achieve the bright colour trend. When the pieces are worn together they pack a serious punch, or rock them separately (with a statement blouse or ripped denim) for a fresh take.
